Ok, when I get asked a question on the spot in front of 40 people, my face heats up and i get super nervous and I stop breathing. And today, I got asked if Lone Peak was broken during class, and I had no clue what to say, and I said "I've never really been this sad at school before, so that's different." which is true... but now that I have had time to think... the answer is a big NO.
There was a suicide at Lehi High when I went there first semester. And the next day, not a lot of people dressed up, not a lot of people talked about it, and the hallways were full of life, laughs and smiles. Even in class, I didn't hear one thing about it, and none of the teachers mentioned it either. Now, I thought this was normal, this the first time I had experienced something like that. But when I got to this school, and the same thing happened, the atmosphere was so much different and people were so much more respectful.
As sad as it is, I think things like this bring students closer. I saw so many hugs in the hallway today. And so many people where talking about it, and half of the school was dressed up. Now, I don't know about you, but I think this school is pretty strong. Not even close to broken. I am proud of what I saw today.
GO LONE PEAK
I notice really weird things, and I also laugh at really stupid things. I'm quiet around people I don't know, but i'm a complete psycho-path around people I'm close to. I have dreams so big they almost seem impossible, and I live everyday making it so they aren't. I do things that most High School students don't do, I have amazing oppurtunites that I never thought I would have. My life is kinda CRAZY...BUTTT i wouldn't trade it for anything....even the worlds most perfect Cafe Rio Pork Salad.

"Create A Song You Wish Existed"
I always say to myself... "Create a song that you wish existed".
And that's what I did.
This link below is a song that is extremely important to me.
Two years ago, I went through something pretty hard. And if you know me, which no one in the class does, my life is all about music. ALL OF IT. When something in life hits me, I hit up Youtube, and I let the words that are so relatable pour into me. But two years ago, I couldn't find a song that related to me enough, so I wrote one. And I listen to it all the time, I hope that's not weird. It's the rough draft, but Nelson loves rough drafts... so here you go.

We Forget to Smell the Flowers.
We Forget to Smell the Flowers.
We are infinite.
We can run and walk and jump and do amazing things with our bodies.
We have mouths to speak our mind and hands to deliver actions.
We can laugh, cry, yell, and whisper.
We have eyes to see the beautiful things, and also the bad.
We are us. No one else is us. Because we are only one.
We have purpose, we have talents.
We are different because diversity is what makes the world go round.
We are humans.
Living an amazing life.
We are given all of these things so that we can do anything.
Amazing things.
Do things we're afraid of, or try something new.
Change the world, stand up for ourselves.
Be a leader, be a role model.
But, what do we do instead?
Have we forgotten what lifes about?
We spend our time thinking about what's up ahead and we forget to live in the moment.
We spend hours looking down on our phone until the sun goes down, missing the sunset.
We sleep in until noon when the sun is high in the sky, missing the sunrise.
We walk fast down the street to get to our destination but forget to stop and smell the flowers.
We walk down the hallway in a rush and forget to look for the people who are longing for someone to just...smile at them.
We make lists of things to do and set alarms on our phone and dread the days we know we will be busy, and we forget that being busy is such a blessing.
We hide in our rooms late at night staring at computer screens, forgetting that outside your window is a beauitful scene with millions of lights of different colors and billions of stars in the sky.
We spend our time watching perfect people do perfect things on TV, and then stand in front of mirrors picturing a possible better version of ourselves.
We go shopping, not to impress ourselves, but to look like a million bucks for everyone in your town, forgeting that some people haven't had the money to get one new peice of clothing all year.
We want to blend in and be like everyone else, but nothing's more beautiful than someone walking to their own play-list in a world where everyone listens to the "popuar" genre.
We are human. I know.
We get one life. One first time for everything. And one last time for everything.
Yeah, I know. We are sick of people saying... "last school dance" or "last High School football game"
But they are right. These are our last days. We are counting down.
We will be out in a world where followers and likes on pictures aren't worth crap.
We will be watching the News months after we graduate and see that someone you remember from school committed suicide because they felt useless and invisible.
We will one day walk down the street with our children, and watch them smell the flowers.
They will wake up at the crack of dawn, wanting to get their day started, not wanting to waste a minute of their life.
We will meet someone we fall in love with and they will remind us of how beautiful life is.
We will do so many things furthur down the road in life that we wish we would of done now, in these days.
We are infinte, but we limit ourselves, and I don't think we are meaning too.
Slow down, take a breath..... look around.
When we are old, we will want to tell stories... on how we changed someone's life, or when we did something scary, or conqured one of our fears, or got to live our dream.
Our greatest achievment during our teenage years shouldn't be reaching 5,000 followers on insta-gram.
Our greatest achievment should be being able to say that we lived.
We are living. but let's start living now.

I'm Not Shy I Promise
Tickle me PINK..
Why this title?
Oh, I'll tell you why.
Cuz I LOVE PINK, & I am easy to make laugh. I also notice the small things, the cute things, & sometimes things that people do that they think go unnoticed. I watch people in the weirdest way, I am an observer. It kind of let's you get to know someone without really getting to know them, that sounds really creepy, but I promise I'm normal.
I think PINK is the color most used to show a persons personality. Pink represents: Diva, Girly, Confident, Bubbly, Sassy, Fun, and Creative. I don't think any color can really do that. I am a lot of those things listed... so... obviously... PINK IS LIFE.
If you're in a huge crowd, with people dressed in three different colors; Red, Green, and Pink; you're eyes would go straight to pink. Why? Because it's not in the rainbow, and the colors in the rainbow are so over-rated, pink just stands out, it's different.
You see, I have a obsession with pink. I walked into Hobby Lobby the other day, and we all know how big that place is, I glanced around and my eye when straight to the very back corner of the store. You know why? There was a small hot-pink picture frame... yes.... a picture frame. Pink is powerful.
I think anyone who dares to where pink, especially Hot Pink, is brave, and making a statement... You're saying, "I'm wearing the brightest color in this hallway, and I don't care if everyone's eyes get caught on me."
Bottom Line, this blog is going to be BOLD. I'm going to tell you embarressing things and things that you might not agree with, but that's okay, because if we all had the same opinions, the world would be... freaking weird. No diversity. I am going to tell you crazy things that happen and exciting things that I am doing, and... most importantly.... I'm gonna talk High School.
